Crystal is a clinical relational therapist who centers her practice around humanistic and holistic principles, informed by a deep commitment to cultural awareness and understanding. As an African American womanist, she brings a unique blend of cultural insight and therapeutic expertise, grounded in the belief that each person’s journey is interconnected with the broader human experience. Her compassionate and comprehensive approach focuses on the whole person, fostering authentic healing and growth.
Specializing in trauma-informed therapy and intimate relationships, Crystal has extensive experience helping clients navigate the complexities of trauma recovery and wellness. She also extends her expertise to youth and emerging adult athletes, addressing trauma and wellness in ways that promote both physical recovery and emotional well-being. Crystal is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing space where clients feel empowered to explore their stories and discover pathways to healing. Drawing on a range of therapeutic modalities—including Narrative Therapy, Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices—she tailors her approach to meet each client’s unique needs.
Known for her compassionate yet direct approach, Crystal combines deep empathy with a nurturing and occasionally humorous tone, making her sessions both accessible and impactful. She believes in the healing power of storytelling and sees her role as a facilitator, helping clients reclaim their narratives, build resilience, and rediscover their strengths.
